This strap replaces the WEBBING of military Part Number: 12340201 NSN: 5340-01-254-7189.
NOTE: This is only for replacement adjustable webbing and Velcro material, no steel hardware is included.
These thick webbing straps allow the limit of the HMMWV soft door opening arc to be adjusted by repositioning the Velcro tabs. All seams are double stitched with heavy outdoor rated thread.
Removal of soft doors is more convenient because the Velcro can be opened, rather than fighting the small hook eye end of OEM straps.

I installed a pair of these on my front doors. Since I wanted to keep the doors off the mirrors, I swapped the brackets left to right. This put them farther away than normal but let me use the adjustable straps perfectly. Nice strong stitching, quality nylon and the “good” Velcro. I let the wind pull the door open several times and it held every time. They fit tight on the brackets but taking the straps off the body will be even easier now with the Velcro.
